Our 4th successive year at K.L.H, it was a dry start for those who arrived before
the event, to help set up, helpers arrived 08.30-09.30 to set up
the gazebos and the R26 flag . . . Keen to get it all ready, to
have a dry area in case the rains come as forecast..... Our 9th family day
10.00 to 16.00....
On arrival each car handed over £10, this included entry to the grounds,
gardens and concours area, also, at the gate, Kevin and Karl presented
each car with a commemorative region 26 mug.
We were so pleased to have some 37 Porsche on display, and up to
12.30 those entering the concours keenly prepared their cars for judge
Geoff and his inspection team.
Prior to the judging the heavens opened twice,
before the sun, finally spoilt us with its rays..... In some of
the pictures you can see the extent of the rain on the cars, also see the
regions members huddled together out of the rain. We must say a special thank
you to the
judging team, who carried on with their task in the rain.
During our time avoiding the rain,
many of us shared in some regional banter, not to mention "fits of pleasure"
as we tucked into Sharon's cake, it had Guards Red icing, of course.......
Also using this opportunity to catch up with each other, and to get to
know those PCGB
members that have travelled from other regions to support our annual event.
It also gave Dave C the chance to tell us all about his lovely new
"Porsche Ownership Experience", and to see Brett's mirrored eyes of
For those dreaming of a NEW PORSCHE, Porsche Centre Bournemouth were on

solicited into Judging, thanks Nick, apparently, Geoff can be very
persuasive!!!!! Never . . . . . .
During the day members took time to visit the Stable Café,
enjoining anything from breakfast rolls, lunch, to afternoon tea. Many
shared, that they had enjoyed the grounds and garden's walks.
paid the additional cost to take a look around the house. As most of our
events, it is a family event, some of the children had "such fun" around
the gardens, and also playing in a wooden Teepee that was erected next
to our concours area.
As always, the day had raced past, and at
15.00, we all gathered round, for the concours awards, and our raffle,

for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, which we collect for on many
occasions each year.
Groff and Tref prepared us all for the concours results, and Geoff
introduced us to Paul Foreman,
from Bespoke4Business, who had kindly sponsored the Fav Car trophy,
Paul made the
presentations to the those awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each class. (See
results table below)
Then when the applause was over, it
was time for the important bit, our charity raffle, P.C.B and members
had donated prizes, from a official Porsche colouring book, to
un-official hi-octane bottles of wine!!
We are pleased to share that we raised £170.00 for the

At 4pm, those who had a distance to travel home departed, others took
the opportunity to enjoy the grounds some more, or have another piece of
cake in the cafe. Those R26 members left, set to dissemble the shelter's and
flag pole, then headed on mass for a relax in the cafe before heading off
